    This will be Ms. Mosley's third year at Whitwell High School.  Before coming to Whitwell, Ms. Mosley taught band at Overbrook School in Nashville, TN.  She also served as special staff for the Vanderbilt University Athletic Bands, working with the Spirit of Gold marching band and running pep band for women's basketball in coordination with Vanderbilt cheer, dance, athletics, and marketing.


        While attending Vanderbilt University, Ms. Mosley performed in many ensembles.  She performed with the Vanderbilt Wind Ensemble, the Vanderbilt Orchestra, woodwind quintets, brass quintets, brass ensemble, and the Spirit of Gold Marching Band.  In the Spirit of Gold, Ms. Mosley served as Drill Instructor, Student Show Coordinator, and Head Field Commander.  During her graduate work, she also served as the Graduate Assistant for the Spirit of Gold, which involves rehearsing the band, running pep band events, and planning and executing a field show.  At the end of her undergraduate education, Ms. Mosley was awarded the 2014 Founder's Medal by the Blair School of Music.  She is a member of the National Association for Music Education, the Tennessee Music Educator's Association, the East Tennessee School Band and Orchestra Association, and the Pi Kappa Lambda Music Honor Society.
