Club Projects:

The Student Council and Interact Club conducted their annual canned food drive and toy drive in November and December.

This year we collected over 1500 cans of food before Thanksgiving break. The toy drive was scheduled for the first week after Thanksgiving. Because of the two snow days, the number of toys collected for the Whitwell Police Deparment was down slightly from the year before.

Interact Club is currently collecting items for the Ronald McDonald House. Contact Mrs. Tiffany Gholston for a list or bring canned goods to WHS office by Friday, December 19th.

Pennies for Patients

Campaign Drive

Beginning the second week in February, the FBLA Club (Future Business Leaders of America) will begin their annual "Pennies for Patients" drive. Proceeds (100%) of the "pennies" collected are sent to the Leukemia Society. Any contributions to this fundraiser are appreciated. The members of the FBLA always encourage WHS community and students to contribute as much as they can to help fight this horrible disease.
